If college is the question, PACT is the answer!



PACT, Inc., is a non-profit Community Based Organization whose primary funds come from the U.S. Department of Education, and is part of TRiOTRiO is a Federal outreach and student services program designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRiO includes eight programs targeted to serve low-income and first-generation college-bound students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs. Below are some organizations that PACT collaborates with:


Maisin Scholars Program (MSP)

Maisin Scholars Program (MSP) host PACT, Inc. college internship program, offering participants a chance to explore careers in the education sector.  MSP acknowledges students whose strengths may not be in their academic performance, but rather in their unwavering commitment to their future goals. The award is designed to support the needs of economically disadvantaged students in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) who are dedicated to continuing their education in traditional or non-traditional ways.


Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA)

Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA) offers a college preparatory education complemented by a work study component for its students. ICA students assigned to PACT, Inc. are provided hands on experience in the education sector.

Student Workforce Education Experience Program (SWEEP)

Student Workforce Education Experience Program (SWEEP). The program is organized through the SFUSD’s Career Technical Education (CTE) Department and provides an intensive six-week internship coupling business place experience and classroom/21st Century Learning Skills (technology, critical thinking, communication, creativity and innovation) instruction provided by specialized CTE teachers both before the internship and during the internship over the summer.
